I've been there. I can't say I loved it.
The stereotype of beautiful Germany does exist-- it is called Austria.
I majored in German in school (among other things) and looked at getting the hell out of here as well. Easier said than done. It's not the free-for-all (marque numero dos para Español) that the US is.
There are a lot of good resources about living in or moving to Germany, lots of expat forums and such. Check it out.

Yeah I understand that their are some limitations to immigrating there. Anyways, thanks for the response. And thanks for the mention on expat forums, I haven't heard of them before (now I know)!
