Can I use other half of 1 ML Test. Cyp. ampule next week? Pharm. says NO cause no pre

I get my Test. Cyp. in the 1ML, 200MG/ ML ampules. If I use 1/2 the ampule for 100mg. (i.e. 2 1/2 of them for 500mg.) the pharmacy says I cannot use the other 1/2 of ampule next week as there are no preservatives in the single use ampules unlike the 10ml vile that does have preservatives in it and is multi use. Is the Test. Going to be OK for 1 week storage at room temp. in a dark cabinet in the box? I would think so but Im not a pharmacist. What do ya'll think?

Sounds good, I can do that- here's what Im wondering, whats different from pre-loading a pin vs. just leaving it in the lil bottle? You bust off the green plastic cap then there's the grey/ black rubber stuff you poke the pin thru. Dosent that stuff seal it back up when you pull the pin out? I guess I'm trying to figure out whats the concern, is it like opening an energy drink and leaving it in the refridge, it goes stale?

You said you had amps. Amps are glass, you break them. If you have a vial, you can just draw from it whenever. no need to preload.

Yes. Just store it at room temperature. Draw whenever you want. Just make sure you follow safety procedures when using it.

So now my questions is, what exactly did the pharmacist tell you? That part about not using anymore than 1/2 a ml doesnt make sense. I am extremely confused.

My new Rx from the Dr. is written for using just 1/2 of this (1/2 ML of the 1 mil vile) per week. So I get Qty. 4 of these 1ml viles/ month. Pharmacist said I will need to draw out 1/2 a ml. and throw the rest away (yeah... right ) as there isn't a preservative in these what they called single use viles like there is in the normal 10ml viles. Dr. wont write rx for more than one month's worth at a time, so I can't purchase the 10ml vile that they say has a preservative in it and is good for multiple uses and storage in between. Sounded like bull but I wanted to check
