site no longer remembers me

I am having problems with the site. I am choosing the remember me option when I log in but whenever I leave the page and come back I have to re login. In the past I stayed logged in for weeks at a time.

I believe it's for your safety so that if you forget to log out, no one can get onto your account where you are discussing illegal (in most countries) compounds.

correct, the feature was disabled for safety even if you check the box.

Then I would respectfully suggest removing the feature altogether, as it has been bugging me for a while too (and I'm sure there are others).

Does your browser automatically erase your history when you exit out of it? if so, this is your problem

"remember me" has been deactivated for all members as far as I can tell.........
