I also happen to suffer from sore kidneys at the moment. In fact, it has been about a week and the mild pain doesn't seem to go away, if not getting slightly worse every passed day.
I can't figure out whether this is a residual of the post urinary tract infection I recently suffered from or that it has something to do with my ongoing high-protein diet (2gr per lbs of LBM).
I am big on water. I consume 1.5 gallons on a bad day and always hit the treadmill after lifting for aerobic exercise, which are the most commonly M.D. advised practices in order to prevent uric acid into turning urate crystals, thus leading to formation pf uric acid kidney stones.
Soreness can be due to HBP of the kidneys also, it is just impossible to know without seeing a specialist, which is why I have an appointment for tomorrow.
I am really hoping that this doesn't turn out to be some sort of renal failure. I'll also have my liver checked since I will be at the hospital anyway, we'll see what's going on with these two
