They would want to take care of me but I would be asking them to stay some place else or me stay some place else. In the end we would stay together. People under estimate the power of orange juice and others juices high in vitamin c. I have made colds go away almost overnight with a lot lot of juice (like two cartons a day).

    Hold on- additional details required...

First, is there a legitimate reason she CAN'T get sick? By legitimate reason I mean something like she can't afford to financially, she has kids/older parents she has to take care of, she is pregnant, etc?

If not- sounds kind of selfish. What is she gonna do when your married and get the flu? Move out for a week and stay in a hotel? If anything- she should be taking care of you. What happens when your both 80 and wearing Depends? She's not gonna change your diaper? Not to be a dick... but not cool.

Current? She would stay but try to avoid vetting it and is not a very good nurse.

I met a girl in thailand who stayed with me and took care of me for 3 days after only knowing her for 2 days. She was wonderful and we are still friends. It became more for a while but thats it now. Great girl and I will always think highly of her.

Screw that she should want to take care of you. If she is worried about getting sick she can Lysol everything down and at least sit on the other side of the couch and bring you some soup and crackers. Ask yourself this..if she had the flu would you stay home and take care of her regardless of the possible risk of getting sick as well?

my wife had it on new years. I slept in the other bed room but wouldnt move out for days.
Typically if one of us is really sick we sleep separate not to give it to the other. Also not to keep the other person up if we are coughing and shit
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Yeh im coming down with it atm. If it was me and i had work commitments and she truly loved me she would understand that i could not lay next to her, thats not stay i could not look after her by going out and getting her prescriptions and what ever else u dam need when your sick. Now if i was sick i would expect the same treatment, there is heaps of time for lovey dovey but when one or the other is sick, there has to be an understanding.

Did you hear? The flu is the reason the economy is not recovering. Seriously it has nothing to do with Obama economics. He has said its the flu season fault. Isnt it refreshing to know we have a presidwnt who can do no wrong. LOL

Agree. I recently had it and the bf was waiting on me hand and foot. He did slept on the couch which i really appreciated because i was moving around all night and would have hated to keep him up all night as well.
