Average Hard boiled egg.... 5g of fat, 8g of pro and 0g carbs

Good source of fat and protein... Great item to have in your diet... but how you use it is what matters

up until recently, i was somewhere between 4 and six eggs a day. very inexpensive protein source. good for you. i really don't give a shit what the docs say about it's cholestoral content. It's a wholesome, whole food, and good for you.

I eat 6 a day. Have tried them raw, soft boiled, and hard boiled. I'm actually starting to get sick off them. Sometimes I'll slice them and throw them on a salad of greens with tuna. That's not bad.

My sister made pickled eggs at Christmas this year; family tradition. I'm thinking I might need to make some through the year for variety in my HB eggs. Pickling them gives a whole new level to your farts too.....

Egg has the highest BV (biological value) regarding protein utilization rate, easy to digest, inexpensive and the yolk is packed with vitamins, minerals and amino-acids as well as the most powerful natural antioxidant known to men, Co-Q10.

However, fat to protein ratio is a bit nasty, if you are going to eat it all with the yolks, you have to sit down and calculate your daily macro needs for fat.

I calculate both and make sure saturated fat doesn't exceed 1/3 of total.

This completely depends on multiple variables, which varies between individuals since every metabolism will give a different metabolic response to a certain process.

Thus, any generalization regarding a direct correlation between consumption of x-amount of egg yolks and cholesterol is essentially flawed, just like any other generalization would be for that matter.

This being said, consuming up to 5 egg yolks along with a serving of 8oz lean steak ED doesn't increase my LDL cholesterol, I know this by lab results. But again, another variable here is that I go through 5 cardio sessions EW, I have my distance with alcohol, tobacco and drugs (expect for AAS), I have a consistent and healthy sleep pattern, I don't ever eat fast-food (even when I cheat, it is not fast-food) nor do I ever consume processed foods, I consume 1.5 gallons of spring water and eat low GI fruit, and do my best to lead an overall stress-free life.

However, my LDL cholesterol goes up a little, when I cycle... Old habit, hard to break

I'll eat 12- 20 a day, but only 3 or 4 whole eggs, I take the yolks out of the rest. Egg whites run around 17 calories with 4 grams of protein.
