Training everything twice per week is fine, just stay away from failure and maybe only go to failure for one set per exercise...
From what I have read/ heard it is more optimal than a once a week high intensity bashing.... Again, from what I have heard from layne norton the data and knowledge in the scientific community has shown repeatedly that a higher training frequency and higher volume are closer to optimal vs a lower frequency and higher intensity for muscle hypertrophy....
I do love HIT training... The speed of it, the overall feel but is it optimal, probably not based on what I hear from professionals (and I'm not talking bodybuilder a lol)
