    ATM Fee's

I know I have only myself to blame as I could just find a TD Bank but I forget. I did my corporate tax returns today. $750 in ATM Fees for the year. My accountant ripped me as well as the 3 am gorging lol

I had no idea that every time you take money from an atm machine not only do you get charged by that machine $3 ( i knew this) but you are also charged by your bank. So it can cost you $6 to take out 20 which is 30%

How is this even ****ing legal.......

Man that is a lot. Why dont you take use your debit card at the restaurant? Or use the green machine atms so you dont incur chargesat all.

As for the how is this legal I am not sure.

I went through it and alot of the fees were on nights I went out. I just figured out why they were so bad. In NYC ATMS limit the cash you can get. So if you want 200 they will only let you get a 100 then make you do a second transaction. That has now become a $12 transaction and forget it there were nights I pulled out like 800 out of atms.

The funny thing is I am a pretty well rounded guy and super thrifty. I am one of those guys that will ask a discount for anything. I was really disappointed in myself but this def ends today/

Forget the bricks. Get online. Ally bank refunds all my atm fees. Even the $8 fees at clubs

Did it ever occur to you to go to a Walgreens, cvs or Walmart and buy a pack of gum and put your pin in a get cash back?
its free, all major retailers offer that option as long as you purchase an item.

By where I live you can never take more then 15 back. I live a block from Walgreens and I am in there every other day. There have been so many times where I would ask for cash back and then go shit its only 15 bucks and then go use their atm and pay 6

Didn't Bush make the bank fees for atm withdraws illegal? I mean the atm you're using can charge you, but not your bank.

Maybe he did but under Obama there was a restructuring of the credit card "lending" laws. Opened a few loopholes for banks to add charges to accounts to recoup money lost from the restrictions placed on credit cards.

That's why I'm holding onto my old old old no fee account from WaMu now Chase. If I ever have to switch I'm going with a credit union. They seem to treat customers better than the large banks.

Why are all you guys using so much cash? I get it that it is easier to have cash when you go out but other than that, why are you going to the ATM so much? Check books think you are old school.

Yeah, I was just fvcking around... Calling guys out for their late night debauchery. I'm lame and don't do any of that shit anymore. I'm slightly jealous that I don't frequent ATMs at 3-4 am.

At least they're charging. Most women I know won't even consider ATM.

I'm not getting charged by my bank for using an outside ATM. The atm I use might charge me a fee, but that's upfront.

Well, you can't swipe your credit card through the slot between a stripper's legs.
