Been on for 10 days, lost 5 lbs, endurance is big, focus is up and mood is super ! But somehow I missed the Wikipedia's first sentence where Glaxo discontinued their research because it was found to cause cancer!!!!? Nice miss by me.. Anyone have feedback on that?
1) wiki isn't always the most reliable source of information. But having said that I don't know this is be untrue.Originally Posted by Keenstyle1
2) there are literally tens of thousands of substance we ingest daily that are ingredients in everyday items that have been linked to cancer.
That said hopefully someone can shed some light on this because I am curious about this stuff as well.
You didnt miss it..It was actually mistakenly (IMO) just added to wiki based on erroneous information provided by WADA in an effort to support the recent (very recent) banning of GW. There is only one study that shows cancer and it is in rats at high dosages(New scientist erroneously reported at any dose but the HED is higher than we would ever take-like- to the tune on 450mg/1800mg or 3600mg/day- we take what 5-15 mg/day?). Anything in exorbitant doses seems to cause cancer - look at artificial sweeteners.
The product went through 4 human clinical trials with absolutely no note of any adverse effects. In fact PRAR Modulators as a category show very little in the way of adverse effects other than increased risk for stomach polyps which is easily avoided by taking a cox2 inhibitor.
This is where wiki falls well short. If anyone can find ANY data from GSK clinical trails to this effect - show me. Check the refs from wiki to support this contention - you will see exactly what I mean.
Wiki is great for general info but if you often check the refs thats where you can see the errors in interpretation or outright misinformation. Until I see some real evidence im calling witch hunt and propaganda perpitrated or started by WADA perpetuated by irresponsible reporting and now wiki.
As far as GW itself I have no personal experience using it - so I can not comment/respond to the OP's question.

In the very same reference used to support the claims...I found this. What a joke.
BTW for those not interested in reading it- it states GW prevents proliferation of pancreatic cancer in HUMANS.

IS there a suggested dosage for the rat with this product?
