Confusion on HCG dosage

When I look at my HCG vials, they come in 5000iu dosage.

I previously jagged half a vial twice a week which would be 2500iu

Reading other PCT advice, the majority say dosage between 250 and 500 iu, am I taking ten times the dosage recommendation or is the units term different in some countries, Im in the UK

Some advice would be appreciated.

Are you using this method of reconstitution?

Add 2ml Bac Water to 5000iu of lyophilized hCG and that will give you 250iu of reconstituted hCG at .10 on the slin pin.
