Do you have a history of drug abuse, stimulant abuse, etc? Do you drink a LOT of coffee? are you chronically stressed?
A higher dosage of AI would be my first guess to solve your problem. You may have naturally higher e2 levels, which would make you 'soft' looking.
I naturally have very high E2 levels, and it's actually difficult for me to crash my e2. I can run 2.5mg letrozole/day or 1mg/day arimidex off cycle and not crash my e2.... (Adrenal fatigue, so my adrenals sputter estrogen instead of cortisol when cortisol is needed)
Even before the adrenal fatigue, I had the soft look. I had veins in the area below my waist, above the genitals from being so lean, yet I had the pouch in the front and love handles. Veins everywhere else.
The culprit? High e2.
I've found ways to control this, and it's been difficult (I have to stress-dose cortisone, and run a custom dose of AI).
My last cycle of tren did absolutely nothing for me in terms of recomp, because I had let my e2 fluctuate from stress induced e2 release.
My advice to you is get bloodwork during your current cycle: Sensitive estriadol, testosterone, SHBG, corsitol (AM and PM)
Then, get the same bloodwork off cycle, like a month past the conclusion of your PCT.
See if your cortisol is LOW in either situation, if your e2 is high in either situation.
If your E2 is high, I would suggest trying a higher dosage of AI, and then if that does not work try a different AI (e.g. switch from adex to aromasin 25mg/day)
If that still does not work, I would leave test at TRT dosages, and run non-aromatizing compounds. Masteron, Var, tbol, tren are the first that come to mind for compounds I would use. I don't know your cycle history, so I'm not going to say outright that you should use tren. It's harsh, and not for newcomers as the sides can be unbearable.
If your cortisol is low, see your doctor and look into adrenal fatigue. If you've got it, you're pretty much stuck with the soft look until you can recover your adrenals.
This means no clen, no stimulants, no coffee, etc for a LONG period of time....we're talking 1+years....along with taking adrenal support supplements to help them recover.
It's not really something you can treat on your own. I've tried...I've made myself a human guinea pig and seen some pretty crazy things. If you want an example, look up my thread about t3 and cortisone induced muscle wasting and fat gain. I gained 5-8% BF and stayed the same weight over a period of seven days through one of my attempts to self-dose cortisone to stop my adrenals from sputtering e2 and making me look bloated.
This is probably way more in depth than you were looking for...but hey...that's what happens when I accidentally take two of my adhd meds instead of one...along with Noopept.
