    Anything for painful injection site?

Hey dudes. My first pin was Wed. 4/24. Everything went smooth as can be. But this whole week my fricken thigh hurts like I got punched. Are there any remedies for this? A friend told me to massage the site right after you pin. Should I be doing that or not?

Ya massage is the only thing really, it's virgin muscle (I'm assuming) after time you will begin to get used to it and it won't bother you. Nothing really else you can do.

I doubt that a muscle that never has been injected before has anything to do with it to be honest.

It just happens some times...part of the process.

It's one reason why I like the glutes so much, virtually no pain whatsoever.

Ya it's probably a little sore, just keep moving it. It's almost like being really sore from a workout, like having lactic acid build up in the pin spot. Keep blood flowin through there and the pain will dissipate.

Also, what sized needles are you using brother?

I'd prefer a 1 inch 23 gauge for quad pins.

Yeah, I know lots of people told me to inject the glute. For my first injection, however, I wanted to be able to see and monitor what was going on, you know, to make sure everything was going ok. Maybe as I get more familiar and comfortable, I will try a glute injection. Thanks!

I'd stick with quads... I'm not a huge massive guy, but glutes are hard to do by yourself. You have to twist pretty far around to see what your doing. IMO, it's going to be damn near the same pain wherever it is. My quads actually had less pip than my glutes!

I use a 1.5" 23 or 25 gauge needle. The first time I got sore, the second time barely sore, and then I think it was gone after that. Occasionally I can feel pressure from an injection site during heavy squats (particularly if it is the same day as an injection), but my experience is you get used to it. I think the first time I may have developed some *very* minor swelling (i.e. a tiny bump), but I can't remember.

    23g is not necessary.

    I use a 29g 1 1/4" and it's absolutely painless.

Ya but I bet the needle is in your skin for damn near an hour! Unless your injecting water... Damn that would take like 10 minutes just to draw up 2cc, unless you changed needle sized for drawing it up and one for the actual pin. 23guage is painless...

    Draw with an 18g.

Pushing the ester through a 29g is no big deal... especially when you have forearms like mine

Yep, mine is almost the same. Draw with an 18g, but inject with a 23g. I'll do a few more injections and make sure to massage after, then see how it feels from there.

I find that PIP is due to what is being injected. First time I ever injected, it was my pharma grade test from my script. No pain whatsoever. However, if you are using UGL stuff or even something with a prop ester, it could very well be that.

High concentration of prop ester anabolics = ouch.

Youll be fine man. You also might have hit a vein or something. If you did youll know because of the nice bruise.
