Well some know im a chef. I as standing in the kitchen when a server came around the corner yelling at me they needed me to do Heimlich on a customer.
I ran over to the table find ma on the floor and one guy with his finger down the man throat and someone doing half assed compressions. Told them we need to get him up, as I was picking him up, another manager said there was another customer here that was a doctor. So I pcked him up, and the doctor started preforming the Heimlich....im yelling at the guy to breath and try to spit...as im trying to un clog his throat with my fngers. We then have a valet that's a paramedic, he came in and we drop him to the ground and he started chet compressions again...as im holding his head trying to clear his throat, I here behind me "dad please breath". Find out the guy was there with his wife and son for his BDAY. By this time first person to arrive was a cop with the "shock treatment" sorry cant spellthe proper word lol. She shcked him twice right there...no response...paramedics came and got him on the gurney and took him away. We found out he is in stable condition. And that he actually had a stroke and wasn't choking on his steak. Which means we could have done more damaged then good but we didn't know.
Now as amazing as this story is, there was a table in the area of where this happened, they actually had the nerve to say they wanted to change tables during the process, that it was their anniversary and that this situation ruined their experience, and we ended up paying for their dinner that night. And also another server came to me later saying that t his party he had 3 doctors that stood and watched, saying hat they could not do anything due to the fact that they could be sued. These f--king people amaze me.....pretty damn sad.
