VILLAMIL, JOSEPH A. "GUAPO"
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me." A third year LSU student, majoring in psychology, and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Friday, April 25, 2003. He was 26 and a native of Charleston, W.Va. Visiting was at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at Greenoaks Chapel from 10 a.m. until service at noon Tuesday. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his father, Ignacio A. Villamil; mother and stepfather, Annette "Niki" Nicholas V. Woodruff and Murphy L. Woodruff Sr.; a sister, Nena Villamil; a brother, Jason Villamil; two stepsisters, Dana and Dianne Woodruff; and a stepbrother, Murphy Woodruff Jr.; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Angelo Corsentino; paternal grandmother, Maria Villamil, Miami; two aunts, Sharon Nicholas Maranto and Therese C. Graves; and an uncle, Jose A. Villamil. Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Albert L. Nicholas and Jose A. Villamil; and an uncle, Enrique Villamil. Pallbearers will be Jason Villamil, Jim Chisholm Jr., Robert Graves, Corey Vaughn, Murphy Woodruff Jr. and Steve Moos. Honorary pallbearer is Aaron Hecht. He was 1995 graduate of Woodlawn High School.
