New Member - First cycle, a few questions

    Hello everyone,

I have been reading a lot on these forums and have done a lot of research for years before deciding to do a cycle.

    29 years old
    5'7
    145lbs

    What I am taking:

400mg of Testosterone Cypionate per week. 200mg on saturday and 200mg on tuesday.
    Anti estrogen
    PCT

I got the stuff from a guy who I know very well and has been on gear for 15 years now. I took my first pin on saturday and my second one I will be doing myself tomorrow.

How long until I will feel the test? like start to have strength gains
Is the 400mg a week my friend recommend a good starting point?
Can I tell a doctor im on test and ask them to watch my levels while im on it? Will they be willing?

Here is a before pic of me flexing so you can see how I look now (I am just an average guy) not significant body-fat but I haven't gotten my body fat percentage checked. I will make monthly updates on my progress with pictures.

    Welcome Mike.

I don't know why you started your cycle, Mike. You don't have any muscle development. How long have you been training? You have to develop your body at least a little bit before you cycle. This was a bad idea but I wish you the best of luck.

Do not discuss cycling with doctors.

Steroids are not magic. You will probably tear a musscle or a joint from rapid strength increases. Your 15 year veteran should tell you this

Thank you for your time. Can you elaborate why it is a bad idea? Do I really look that skinny? I didn't think I was too small to run a cycle but I am sure you know a hell of a lot more than me. I did read your Sticky before and I saw the lowest weight on there was like 155lbs.

You first tell me to bump it to 500mg and then you basically say I should not do it because I will tear a muscle or joint. If I were to tell you guys I am going to do it either way, can I get some advice as to how to train safe for my size then? I have been lifting on and off for about 4 years. I have just got back to the gym and been back for 2 months now. I am a hardgainer but I have made progress because when I was around 25 I only weighed 125 lbs

I do understand that my muscles will grow but my ligaments and tendons will not so there is risk of injury. Do you guys suggest I make slow progression with the weights then? if so am i wasting the cycle?

Like I said, it doesn't look like you train at all. I don't see any muscular development at all. It's not just about being "small", it's about the lack of experience in the gym. You're not ready for the burst of strength to come. Furthermore; there is a very evident problem with your diet that needs to be evaluated, critiqued and implemented for a long while as you continue training before you cycle.

This stuff isn't magic. You're not going to see any appreciable results until you fix everything I mentioned. If you've been training, then you need to have your routine evaluated as well, because it's not working for you, Mike.

Hope that doesn't sound harsh, but you're simply not ready. You rushed into this.

Three things would do right now if I were you:

    1. Abort the cycle. Even if your stats were good, cycle is very very poorly implemented.
    2. Fnd Marcus in the "Marcus's Diary" thread in the lounge. Read his thread and learn how to train.
    3. Go to the nutrition section and have the pro's critique your diet.

    That's it.

You havent built up a base. How long have you been training? You need a solid couple years of training behind you before AAS to establish a foundation. At your size, food and training will benefit you more then AAS.

Yes, you look that skinny. Eat, train and eat some more.

Dont take offense to what I'm saying.

    Stay strong!

I think I had a better base when I was in my early 20's. If I had looked like this now would your opinion be any different or am I still too underdeveloped?

Austinite, you said even if my stats were good the cycle is poorly implemented, why? Did my friend not give me the right stuff? 400mg test cypionate not good to start?

Again thank you for taking the time to reply.

No idea what your PCT is, no hCG. No idea what your AI and dose is. No timing stated. Very poor proposal.

I'm not going to comment on a 10 year old picture. We're in 2013, not 2003. Not is what matters, not then.

    Welcome!

According from your both pictures you are not ready to begin an AAS cycle.

    ...agree with the guys above.

if you are not gaining naturally something is wrong in your diet or training, without solid base what you don't have for sure, you CAN gain few lbm during cycle, but wont be able to HOLD any of them after cycle.

By aas are not MAGIC euro mean that those guys that use and looks like a monsters use very long, EAT LIKE BEAST all day long and during the night some shakes and train like prisoner that is locked up in cell 23/7 and wanna be the biggest when it comes to SHOWER TIME!

If your only back in the gym for 2 months dont jump straight to gear. You will get a injury. Look into HIT and bulk food for size gains
