Quad, hands down. I still rotate through my quads but when I use more concentrated gear, I get PIP that i normally never get. I rarely hit a nerve in my quad although some guys complain of it.Originally Posted by justo
I use a number of areas with success (delts, pecs, triceps, traps, glutes, quads).
I used my triceps the other week and my left one hurt for daysss swelled up n all... Don't think I wanna go there again lol. Used delts but still have a bit of pip there so didn't wanna pin again there or isit ok?Originally Posted by MuscleInk
I wanna do my glutes but I'm scared to hit that sciatic my a phucker...so I think I'm gonna go with the quad! What pin?
As a general rule, the smaller the muscle the greater the risk of trauma or any PIP. There are a number of factors that will contribute to PIP:Originally Posted by justo
- injection experience
- volume of gear injected
- concentration of gear injected
Assuming you follow sterile procedures, these are the "big 3" that will contribute to PIP. You should have at least three injection spots and wait 10-14 days ideally before injecting back into the same location. This ensures previous gear has absorbed, reduces scar tissue, and should allow most PIP to resolve.

It's (sciatic nerve) not as easy to hit as some guys fear - however it is possible and any inflammation around that large nerve will cause quite a bit of discomfort. I've never had a problem, but administering injectable meds is part of my profession so my experience is greater than many people.Originally Posted by justo
With quad, I use a 25g, 1" needle and go all the way. I target the rectus femoris (RF; main quad muscle) although some guys use the vastus medialis (VM). The VM is smaller and it's proximity to the patella (knee) and adjoining ligaments makes it a target for greater inflammation, pain, and gait (walking) problems post injection. I would advise you stay away from the VM if you are inexperienced with it.
Damn lol I'm in a predicament! I feel to just do my delts again lol! So I heard that if you put ur hand on your thigh middle finger touching knee, where your palm meets ur wrist and about 2 inches to the outside of the quad is the best place. Could that be used as an idea? Plus I have to train legs tomorow lolOriginally Posted by MuscleInk
True, thanks Pann.....we could probably add ester length too.Originally Posted by panntastic
That's fairly accurate. I prefer slightly higher up but if too high you could risk inflammation transcending into the hip girdle and that is very unpleasant. The thing with PIP is that the more frequently you inject, your body will adjust and the frequency of PIP will diminish (assuming you perform injections as directed). The only time I have PIP now is with highly concentrated gear.Originally Posted by justo
Yea I'm gonna give the quad a go! I heard prop is tuff pip! Thanks for your help mateOriginally Posted by MuscleInk
Correct. Most shorter esters are associated with increased PIP. That's one reason I rarely use tren ace any more and stick with Tren-E when I run tren cycles.Originally Posted by justo

I have read all this thread. I have to agree with MI on his posts (I cannot reply on a monitors post or copy) I cannot be more specific but I use my glutes more then anything. I have had no problem with my quads I just rotate one to another an different sites. I do have problems if I inject to much or shorter intervals as MI said. In regard to hitting the sciatic nerve I never had an issue.
I have been injected by others, my wife but most all the time myself. I haven't bee all that accurate to the specific point of injection in my glutes but NEVER ever hit the sciatic or any other nerve. I have hit a vessel and didn't aspirate. I only knew by all the blood that came out. Or maybe I didn't . It stopped bleeding in a few seconds. I didn't get black n blue.
So Just for me, I don't scrutinize all that location a some do and I haven't had a problem just looking at my glue and stabbing so to speak. That's me and knowing that it might be a good idea to aspirate I have only done it few times. I don't practice it. This is me I don't recommend that any more to anyone else. ...crazy mike
^^^Agreed. I'll take trenE any day over the ace. Just my preference.Originally Posted by crazy mike
