5/8" Needles

My pharmacy yesterday all of the sudden decided I needed a script for needles. They have an old (crappy) doc of mine on file, and he sent over a script for 5/8" needles. I typically use 1.5" needles and stick the glutes and quads... I can't use the 5/8" needles on either, correct? I know I can hit delts and other areas, but I'm happy with the balance I've achieved with my TRT protocol and don't want to introduce a new variable into the equation since all is well. Can anyone comment on 5/8" needles for quads/glutes?

I was able to get 1.5" needles at another pharmacy with proof of medication... I just have a bunch of 5/8" needles that I'm wondering if I can use.

Also, does anyone know a good online site to order needles in bulk? It's a PIA to hit the store every month/month and a half to buy more... I'd rather have a bunch on hand.

just google it, you can get them real cheap! what gauge are the 5/8"? if 27-31 you can use them for hCG or for injecting test SQ.

I used those 1 1/2 pins HARPOONS for 4 weeks and changed to 25 gauged 5/8 and as oposed to buying from the phamrmacy .70 ea.= $70.00 per 100 . I buy online for .14 = $14.00 per 100 easy glide been on TRT almost a year And pin HCG & peptides with 29 gauged 1/2 in .13 ea. = $13.00 per 100 !

Test IM in delts and once in a blue moon glutes and all HCG and Peptides and B-12 ub - Q 29 gauged 1/2 in Peptides or HCG or B-12 everyday 1 to 2 in from belly button and do 6;00 O-clock and next day 12:00 O-clock and then do 3:00 next day 9:00 no pain issues ans delts every 3.5 days and alternate no pain issues

I think someone posted Amazon @ .7 = $7.00 per 100 ? I can't find that vendor on Amazon ?

You can use 5/8" needles just fine. This wont' affect how well your TRT protocol does or doesn't work. You'll still be using the same amount of testosterone and the same amount of testosterone will be entering your body.

If it helps, I've gone back and forth from 5/8" to 1" needles for years and I primarily inject my glutes.

I've used 5/8" for glutes. Worked just fine.

Amazon I get 25g 5/8in 100 for 8$
They probably have them in the size you need.

I go to Wal-Mart to get any size I want. No questions asked.
A funny thing one day. I go to Wal-Mart to get my syringes and the two Pharmacists weren't there. There was a stand in. So I ask and she just says right out. "we don't have them" I laugh and say well do you have the 22G ...NO we don't have them. I then tell her they are over there, NO we don't have them!. I said look lady I get them here all the time, and at that moment all the others behind the counter start to laugh at her. They know me ! She says do you have a script and I told her I don't need one and the syringes are over there. Everyone is giggling so she sheepishly tell someone to help me. ...crazy mike

I use 27 ga 1/2 inch pins pretty much everywhere.

Thanks y'all... I'll give the 5/8" pins a shot. Probably go quicker than my 1.5"

The Gauge has more to do with the speed of injection than the legnth . Dr. scripted 22 gauged inch and a half ? I fill with those and pin with 25 gauged 5/8 's and the pin stays sharper

Yeah but sticking a 1.5" needle takes at least 3 times as long as a 5/8" to get all the way in

????? Are we not talking about 10th of seconds ? With one as opposed to the other ? Do you push the pin in that slow ? I may be the only one but a 1/2 in. a 5/8 in. or and in. 1/2 , . . . I just poke push and pull ? Can't be more than a 1/2 a second difference other than with a 22 gauged pin the oil does flow a lot faster as a matter of fact I don't push as hard and fast with a 22 gauged as I do with a 25 gauged ? I just personal prefrence a 25 gauged due to the stiffness and yet still volume that can be dispensed even with .7 ml of oil the injection time isn't over 1/2 a second difference between a 22 gauged and a 25 gauged ? Just MHO ?

Asperate who . . . . lol just joking but I forget that most of the time since I am not IV injecting although I have heard to asperate even with IM's but in 8 years of abuse and a year of TRT never mainlined and juice or a Sub-Q Pin

I use 25G 1" for glutes & quads & 27G 1/2" for delts (Test Cyp). I don't see 5/8" being an issue unless you're trying to get under a really thick layer of fat.

Just did the 5/8" on my quads - wow that was quick. It's barely an injection compared to the 1.5" I'm used to.
