Barely reached me in Nottingham just rain and a bit of breeze. But looks pretty grim down south.

It got noisy about 5am this morning.

Batten down the hatches! Some water splashed my window!

Haha. Heard some wind this morning, and there was a smallish tree across the road near us, but nowhere near as bad as the press had us thinking. Hope all of the rest of you in blighty are ok!

Hurricane sandy left me with no power for 10 days. Took hours to get gas for the generators

Yea man it sucked ass lol. I have a gas stove so I could cook but having to run the generator for the fridge and lights was a pain in the ass. All day there was a constant buzzing in the air from everyone's generators running lol.

Heavy rain but no winds to speak of, we had a good summer mate now we will pay for it in the winter. I get a little down when the clocks go back and winter arrives, still it will soon be summer again....

I heard one death was a tree falling on someone in a car, and one falling on someone in a house - I assume the others were something similar.
