Is it safe to inject with pieces of the stopper floating in the vile?

it's from me inserting the pin for the last 12 days. It's test prop.

Can I still use the gear?

What can I do to prevent this with the other viles.

The other viles that are new do not have them. The ones that do didn't either till today when I last looked.

Maybe use a smaller pin to draw from your vial to extend the life of your stopper.

In all honesty if that's the case I would get a slin pin and draw with that trying to avoid the rubber. If I didn't have much test left, or there was a good amount of rubber chunks I would toss it. Prop is cheap, doctor visits aren't

I draw with 18g and never ever left rubber in the vial. Even on my 100mL jug I was stabbing over and over and over....something isn't right. If it were me, I'd be worried about pulling rubber chunks into the barrel from the pin on previous injections. The stopper shouldn't break down so easily

I think the problem is I am sticking the needle in the same exact spot on the stopper every-time I draw.

I am using 22g or 23g needle to draw.

Do you think that It is a possibility I can dray one of those rubber chunks with those needle sizes?

I still have about 1/4th of the vile. But I can't afford to be really throwing it away. But I don't want to risk it either.

I hear you can re filter it but I don't know how to.

If you are going to use it, make sure you dont have any of the pieces in the needle. Use one needle to pull it, then change the needle. You will see if anything is in the syringe. Good luck.

Running prop now. Pin the shit out of it with no issue. I'd be more worried if the rest of the vials will do the same.

    1, use smaller pins
2, try not to draw exact same spot. Look for tiny scratch when swabbing the vial top
3, .22um syringe filter (yes .45 would catch the rubber. But .22um would "properly filter it including any bacteria pushed unto the vial where no doubt the drawing hole has become larger compromising sterility more than normally) so I'd filter it.
4, (obviously) put into another sterile vial

If ur worried. Don't be. The rubber itself would not actually cause that much grief on there own. But best not to do it anyhow

Refilter or discard that vial. Stop drawing from the same spot on the stopper.

Had the same issue with drawig 18g, just use 23g and try to avoid the stopper particals when drawing. n just make sure there is no pieces in ur barrel.
