Not to sound too embarrassing but been training for years now and took a wrong turn and started out wrong. Went from former fatty to super lean to fat to skinny fat. Now I am learning on the right way to do things. Been working on a 3x5 to build up my strength. After gonna do a 5x5. My question is though regarding progressive resistance. Periodization and the Conjuagate system. Have you bros seen a tremendous benefit in muscular hypertrophy training using the conjugate system? I mean apparently the eccentric is important for muscle growth but not strength? I thought the myofibilar hypertrophy was in the eccentric and how does the concentric build more strength? I heard more motor recruitment and training the CNS... Kinda lost.
