Old Gear.. Is it safe still

Guys I have some gear thats 2- 2.5 years old

Its test enanthate
its made with grapeseed oil and BA and BB
Its been stored in a Dark Place at about room temp.

The grapeseed oil that was used for it has not spoiled in the original bottle it came in, I still use it for cooking lol..

The gear has turned very dark brown/Amber though which happened after about a 6-8 months
Can I still use it? is it safe? I understand it may have degraded somewhat but is it still worth using?

-Also, the friend of mine who made it said his turned dark too , we split the brew half and half, he used his after about 6 months of the brew date and said it was the the best stuff he had, but had to add some extra grapeseed to the shots cause it had bite.

If it were me id get new gear. That just me.

If it has been kept sterile then yes it is safe. Keep in mind most containers have a sterility expiration date so if you think that might have been compromised then do not shoot dirty gear. As far as effectiveness, that diminishes over time so even if it is still safe it might not be as effective. Some chemicals do become toxic after let to set over long periods of time but I do not think test is one of them.

I am going to tell you to just go ahead and buy new stuff. It is my personal policy to play it safe when there is a question that comes up concerning drugs that I do not know.

I would use it it should still be fine plus you know whats In it that's something you never know messing with a ugl . unless of course you can just make some more but if that were the case I don't think you would be asking this question.

Mauze everything was new and sterile, from filters to the rubber top vials we used.. not sure about the purity of the test powder but the powder we used turned to amber goo before we even made it... it has that distinct odor of test though and from my friends response to it, well he loved it , and thinks its great source, but im just worried about the continual darkening of the stuff. it looks pretty murky.. and the age.. but would hate to waste it also and not exactly wealthy lol..

I don't know about the darkening but the age shouldn't be an issue I'm pretty sure I have heard or read something about it lasting 4 or 5 years I wouldn't have a problem using it myself based on its age . Now the darkening I don't know . I think your best bet would be to post another thread in the home brew section maybe those guys will have some answers on that issue .
