Hemoglobin from 17.8 to 18.1. Max range is 17.3
Hematocrit from 54.8 to 56.2. Max range is 50 or 54 depending on lab used.
Doc Wouldn't give me a blood draw. Said I was taking too much test so it wasn't medically necessary. Red Cross said I was too high to donate. Doc Said I should drop my test from current level.
Last June my test dose was was at 200 mg/wk. I dropped it to 160mg per week in June then to 120 mg/wk in sept then to 100 mg/wk in January.
In January I was still high measuring hemoglobin at 17.8, hematocrit at 54.8, mcv at 97. Rbc was in range at 5.65
Started eating one grapefruit a day. Left test at 100 mg/wk (2 doses at 50mg each)
Got my CBC back yesterdAy and the results are good (except for mcv).
Rbc measured 5.12, hemoglobin measured 16.2, hematocrit measured 50.3. Mcv is still at 98
So grapefruit works!!
