weighing the price of treatment verses site sponsors prices

I'm with the site sponsor and my contract is almost up. My family physician told me he would write me scripts for my treatment. I'm wondering how much it'll cost me out of pocket for my treatment. I'm also curious about the price of anastrazole. All my blood work is covered by insurance. I read about the RX coupon for test. Forgot the exact name though.

I'm broke like no joke and need to cut out anything I can to save money. Thanks guys.

So do you have insurance or no? Will your insurance not cover test or an AI?

Either way you can check the cost through insurance or call your pharmacy and ask for out-of-pocket cost would be.

Out of pocket. Good idea, I'll talk to the pharmacy. Any input would still be welcomed.

Ok, I'm seeing these online pharmacies having different prices. I know you can't say the name of the online pharmacies on here but can you tell me what country has the best prices?

I have BC/BS and my TESTC cost me 10$ per 2000mg (10ml). I take .5ml 2x per week. Doc said I don't need an AI but my E was over 80 something so I got liquidex from Ar-r. I pay out of pocket for my syringes 24 for my syringes every 6 months. So all in all Im in about 100$ a year for the test syringes and the liquidex.

Does anyone know how much hcg costs? Would it be best to purchase from a compounding pharmacy? I couldn't find a coupon for that at GoodRx but did find a half off coupon at help rx.

I used to be able to get 5000ius of hcg powder with the bac water made by a pharmaceutical company up until a few months ago. Now it is not available (in California) and I have a compounding pharmacy doing it. It is about 60 bucks either way.

10ml vial test with GoodRX coupon - $43
    90 count anastrozole at costco - $26
HCG freeze dried powder online - $15-$18

Less than $30 monthly cash price with no insurance.

Do you have to use a coupon at Costco to get that price?

That seems incredibly cheap for the Anastrozole. Kudos to you brother.

Normal price for Costco as long as you can get a script for 90 count. You don't even have to be a Costco member.

That shouldn't be a problem. Really appreciate the guidance. How about the hcg? I found it freeze dried online for 39.99 for 5000 IU. Do you go through a different country? Would it be wise to order from here in the States or does it matter?

I order from a Canadian pharmacy but the HCG ships directly from the manufacture in India (most FDA approved drugs are manufactured in India).

In the states, Empower pharmacy will probably be your cheapest (site sponsor - see advertisements on right when on computer).

Just curious, but how exactly dose a compounding pharmacy like Empower work? Do you get your physician/doctor to contact them directly? Or do you just need to have a prescription in hand?

You would just have them fill your script like any other pharmacy (Costco, Walgreens, CVS, etc).

I like how this sounds. Still getting quality and paying around 60 a month for treatment. Thank you.

I'd like to thank everyone who has been giving advice on this thread. So this is what my doc and I did.

Anastrazole 1 mg 30 count Costco 24.49 (this will last me 7 months. I take 1/4 a week)
Hcg 2x 5000 iu Canadian online pharmacy 52.00 (this will last me 3 months)
Test Cyp good RX coupon at CVS 41.97 (will last a little under 3 months)
    Insulin syringes 100 count 13.69
    Alcohol pads 5 bucks.
    Blood work covered by insurance

So, I'm paying under 40 bucks a month for treatment.

Is it possible to break/cut those 1mg tabs into 1/4ths?

Very easy with a pill cutter. I've been doing it for a year. I was even cutting 1/8 for a while but .25 once a week is enough to keep my estrogen from building up until the next week.
