Thread: How much do you vary injection sites?

    How much do you vary injection sites?

    For those of you who have been on trt for a long time, how much and how often do you vary injection sites? Right now I've only tried glutes and with twice weekly pinning each glute gets once a week. Do I really need to vary more than that? Appreciate the advice.

    As much as possible I rotate delts quads and of course the bum

    I rotate quads. I tried the glutes, but just didn't like it.

    I do injections twice a week. I alternate between two locations on each quad (one higher, one lower, both in acceptable locations), as well as try to just move around on my delts so I never poke the exact same place. I don't feel safe hitting glutes by myself because I can't see everything clearly. Every now and again if my injection sites were sore or I just worked the muscle group and it doesn't line up with injections I'll have my wife pin my glutes (there is no way to say this and sound good).

    alternate cheeks for years. never tried anywhere else since it is painless 99% of the time so no need to fix it if it aint broken.

    I do delt,delt,glute,glute, only pin once a week, each spot only gets hit roughly once a month.

    I inject 17mg/day of propionate and if I don't rotate often I don't seem to get full TRT benefits. Rt glute, Lt glute, Rt quad, Lt quad, Rt delt, Lt delt and repeat.

    SQ 15mg daily - 360 degrees around the navel. You can do love handles, pubic fat - anywhere really. When you do SQ, you have a great many choices.

    Rotate delts and quads, they're the easiest to access. I have a hard time getting to the glutes and I'm not a big fan of someone else doing my injections.

    Same quad, same place for 2+ years, 0 issues. 25g 1 inch

    tic, tic, tic, time is running out. I did the same for just over 2 years, now I cant hardly to my quads at all without hitting a nerve or at least a lot of scar tissue. I never did glutes but have learned rotation is good.

    That sounds real bad. Maybe SQ is the answer for you.

    Rotate quads and do a delt from time to time to change things up

    I think a mix of it all is good. No reason to only go with one or the other.

    I use subq and pin all over my upper legs. From knee up, I just switch it around different spots. Hcg I do midsection in the same way.

    I do subq in the abdominal area and have had no problems. HCG and test.

    Thanks for all the responses. For some reason my left glute seems to have more nerves than the right so the last couple times I've pinned there I get a weird little twitch that I never feel on the right side. Doesn't really hurt, just feels odd and gives me a nails on a chalkboard kind of cringe. I ordered some 25g one inch pins today so I can try adding delts to the mix. I'm using 23g 1.5 for glutes but feel that's a little too much for delts from what I've read.
