Signs you need to donate blood? Bonaparte

Ive been on eq, deca,test for 5 weeks now, on my TRT my latest PCV was reaching around 49. So just wondering what symptoms i should look out for ? Ive been meaning to book in and donate blood but havent got around to it.

Also my next question, hopefully bonparte or someone can answer but, injecting hormones into your blood, wont they transfer over to whoever gets your blood from the red cross? I mean what if im completely natural, accept a blood transfusion from someone taking testosterone and stuff?

Well honestly mate, i thought it may have upset you because i had called bonaparte out on it and no one else which may make others feel unwanted, which by no means was my intention, if you wouldnt mind answering it, that would be great because im quite stuck on it myself haha.

Little bit i guess, headaches here and there to.
But im just thinking that cos of lerthagy and ive put on in 5 weeks about 4kg on my cycle lol

They will test and re-test your blood to make sure that it is good before they use it. I would donate if I were you. After you donate you can always call and ask them not to use your blood if you are in the US. 1 pt of blood will help three people. They used to have strick items on what drugs you can be on but they have done away with that.

Mad Cow, Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease, is one thing they cant test for now so a lot of people that live or served in Europe during a certain time get turn down for donations. The risk of this being transmitted is very small. As for high test levels in your blood will not make a difference with your donation. Again, if you give blood and feel like you dont want them do use it its an easy step.

I can't speak for the USA, but AAS use is a one year deferral from donating. Even testing for both antibodies and genetic material, it's still possible (however unlikely) to contaminate the blood supply.

With that said (again, I only know Canada's methods) when you're done screening with the RN, they leave the room. You then put one of two stickers on your form. One sticker says "use my blood", the other says "don't". They're barcodes, so know body knows what you've put, totally anonymous. This way you could have blood drawn, but not worry about contaminating the blood supply, if you were so inclined.

But you have more experience cleaning up large spills so doesn't that make you equally qualified?

You can also ask your doctor for a simply test to check your RBC to see if the count is high so you know if you need to donate or not.

With all the refining process they do now days I would not be worried about transferring anything especially aas to anyone via donating blood.

I have high RBC's just running test HRT. EQ really raises it. When my RBC's start elevating, I get very tired, winded really easy. I'll wake up in the morning feeling good, then a few hours later, I get very lethargic. When I am working out, I have trouble breathing right. I just feel very bloated. 49 is high. I keep mine at 45. My doc does a phlebotomy when mine gets high.

If you were at 49% hct before this blast, then you'll surely go over 50%, if you haven't already. Just go donate when you get the chance.
And yeah, hormones will be passed along with the blood. But very few people receive whole blood (most get packed RBCs), so that will drastically reduce the amount of hormones and drug contaminants transferred, as all of that stuff is bound in plasma, not to RBCs.

Yeah, that's generally a sign of hypertension, which could be caused in part by polycemia. It could also just mean that you need BP meds and/or that the steroids are interfering in blood clotting (Tbol does this).

im worried about virus's which you bet your sweet as can and WILL be transferred via PRBC transfusions.

if you ring up red cross, anonymously and ask to speak to someone, casually mention how you like to inject drugs of unknown quality/sterility and they will list you the exact same reasons that i did.

and anyone whos thinking "brah i had a std screen last year all clear" even if your Dr screened for all the hepatitis's (they wouldn't have) HIV can take up to 6 months before you can confirm a negative.

again, maybe if your wife, nicked an artery in her finger on day while cooking, rushing into hospital, simple suture fix but requires 2 bags of blood... 6 months later finds out shes contracted Hepatitis C from the blood transfusion (p.s. she signed a consent form which basically nullifies any legal action), then you would probably see my point.

What viruses or do you think would...
1) find their way into a steroid vial, then
2) survive the benzyl alcohol, lack of proper medium, lack of a host/warmth for weeks or months, then
3) survive the thorough autoclaving that I (and anyone else can) give the finished vial?

The answer is none.

The risks you're talking about are common to all donors. Unless a steroid user is sharing needles, he is no more a liability than the next guy.
