What are your thoughts on carbonated waters?
Do they have any impact on nutrition?
Lately I can't get enough of these.
They are not sweetened and are zero cal. they have the essence of whatever is on the label.

I think there has to be some cals in there, maybe 5 from sugar alcohols or Splenda.
It's completely unsweetened, it just has the aroma of the fruit.
Only thing listed on the nutritional facts is a little sodium - 25mg
I guess my question is about the carbonation*
I wouldn't worry about. I saw there was some article on how diet drinks were just as healthy as water but I can't see how that is possible.Originally Posted by DrewZ

Carbonated water and bone health - Mayo Clinic
Nothing wrong with it.
I'm perfectly good with that.
........but I'm a friggin cheap bastad (news flash!)
I (surprise, surprise) make my own of sorts.
For example, in a shaker cup of ice and icewater, I'll add a drop or two of concentrated lemon juice and shake the heck out of it...
...surprisingly refreshing!
Other fruit works decent too, (strawberries, that sort of thing), but I prefer the citrus
I'll have to give that a try!
These cans are about $5 for a 12 pack.
I actually get carbonated flavored water from Walmart. They have several flavors, 1lt bottles for .89 cents. There is 0 everything in them
I wonder how they get them to have the flavor of the fruit with only sodium as the ingredient on the label? Something is not adding up IMO. I would consider these the same as diet soda, which I drink daily and thoroughly enjoy.
