I see blokes in the gym wearing their clothes line, blokes in the gym talking about GNC, and an avalanche of their products everywhere.

It's an almost "faith based" following, almost like some plump women following Dr. Oz's every utterance.

So what is this magical attraction?

Good gawd I hate that place. Overpriced crap in a bottle, pail, or bag. No thank you. I'm sure similar comments can be made of The Vitamin Shoppe or Nutrishop her in Cali. I generally buy a very limited number of products in NS once a month. I USED to buy Quest bars there - not anymore I guess

BCAAs and protein powder are the only things I get from there now and I rarely use protein powder any more either.

I actually admire how GNC, Vitamin Shoppe and Nutrishop has brainwashed these imbeciles in to loyally buying their snake oil. Almost everything they sell is useless garbage that doesn't work and yet there is no shortage of people who believe it works. It's kind of like a religion of sorts, but I digress.

I actually hate going in to those places though. There is nothing I can't stand more than some punk 18-year-old scrawny wimp telling me how I can get "swole." I can tell from his appearance, it's not working for him. And I hate that they won't just sell you what you came there to get, no they have to build a whole "solutions" basket for you. They're going to push vitamins, fish oil and a bunch of other useless shit on you when all you came there for is a caffeinated pre-workout.

I hate those fvcking places.

It's been several years but I seem to remember that when I would order stuff from them off the internet I would always get some kind of promotional material. A t-shirt, a shaker cup, or some other nonsense. I'm guessing that's why you see their stuff at the gym. Good marketing practice if you think about it.

what honkey kong said. i've gotten many good deals purchasing about to expire products (which are actually fine). if one shops this way, one can save $ over internet prices.

also, they are convenient in a pinch if you're traveling and need something as mentioned.

finally, i've never really gotten the hard sell there, in general the gnc staff has been respectful and professional (albeit not especially knowledgable).

so... take them for what they are - a business trying to work a particular model that works for a certain demographic (that is NOT this group).

I do take it for the BP benefits but I find it is not as effective and something like Cialis. The main reason I take it is because Clen depletes Taurine levels.
