Magic crap can't be real right? I mean what I have seen right in front of my eyes what straight unbelievable. But, they only way I find logic in it is by just saying "it's not real".


But, some of this shit full on defies logic. . . . . I dunno, just wanna see what other people's thoughts ya know

There is "majik" on TV that cannot be performed in front of a live audience. Copperfields disappearing plane/jet/tank is a prime example. The majik is in the camera.

There is other, less spectacular majik that can be performed in front of a live audience, obviously.

But I'm pretty sure you understand that bending the laws of physics by uttering incantations and waiving majik wands is BS, right?

Tell me you know this and the basis of your question is that you just can't figure out how they do it.

The only true thing that I have seen right in front of my eyes is one bending spoon. This is nothing of course in the world of "magic". But, seeing it was really interesting. Not, that I want to "believe" in physic defying nonsense. But, seeing it right there 5" from my face was fvcking crazy. It looked as real as anything possibly can look. No hand BS, no fake spoon - no nothing. Felt it, spoon bends like liquid or in the Matrix then it's back to solid & I feel it again.


Nothing super life changing, but like I said - if one physics defying thing is possible, the whole chain is complete shit.

I was a hobby ish "magician" when I was a kid for a few years. it really intrigued me. So I've been following some of it over the years.

Majik is just tricks making you believe in X when it is actually Y

Yuri Geller was the Geek Freak that was able to bend spoons with his mind, only by concentrating on it....

....until he was proven a fraud. you can google him and find out how he did it. Pretty simple once you understand how it's done.

I don't watch copperfield because he pisses me off. his big tricks are only performed on video. sure, you can see an "audience" watching, but they are shills. The trick is in the camera and if you were actually watching the airplane disappear under the canvass, you would see two things, one canvas with nothing underneath except a frame that approximates the shape of the plane, and another canvas with the plane still under it. The camera angle switches from one canvas to the other, the frame under the canvas is flattened out and viola! the plane disappears. But the other camera angle still shows the plane never moved, and the shills are pretending to be amazed. Pretty stupid shit once you know how it's done. And then they always say "this is not a trick of the camera" so you know, that when they say that, it IS a trick of the camera.

David Blane is another shuckster, and it seems odd his levitation trick only levitates him as high as he can raise up on tippy toes with special shoes and pants.

It's all fraud dude. just because you don't understand the trick doesn't mean it still aint a fraud.

if you want to know how a particular trick is done, just google it. and then you'll feel silly for thinking it's anything other than fraud.

the real majik is how they make it look real. the explanation is a slam dunk.
