    Shoulder impingement

Having problems with shoulder impingment in my right shoulder. Got a cortizone shot a couple weeks ago which was a minor help. Have not been able to do any overhead exercises where I push or lift up above shoulder level at all but been fine for arms, chest and back with no pain at all. I have been considering a cycle but never done one. Have read the infamous article on first cycle and not to stack it but considering the impact of deca on joints could doing it be an option, thoughts?

Have you done any rotator cuff exercises yet? How do they feel?

Steriods will not help. If anything they're make it worse. Try some some soft tissue therapy on your lats. Most impingement symptoms when raising or rotating your shoulder overhead is almost always caused my dysfunctional tight lats.

Grab a foam roller or lacrosse ball and go to town on your lats then retest. Also you can have someone pinch and hold your lats while you raise your arm as a easy test to see if it's really a lat dysfunction.

I have done therapy. Been messed up on and off for ten years. Came back again pretty bad starting around end of August. Still do a lot of specific stretches but nothing seems to help much honestly. Had a half dozen MRI's and xrays over the years through VA but they are pretty much useless.

Have any of those MRIs been with arthrogram?

Interesting. Seems odd that impingement wouldn't improve with PT.

Any painful clicking or popping? Weakness or feeling of looseness?

Yes, shoulder also dislocates, Dr says elongation of tendons causing it. Sucks, really limits what I can do with upper body. Just trying to build it up slowly and not push it to hard right now. Asked about surgery and told they won't even consider it so bout all I can do right now. Dealing with the VA is great!

How long ago did you have an MRI with arthrogram on that shoulder? Painful clicking and dislocations are very common signs of a labral tear.

Did he run you through the physical tests to help rule out a labral tear? Obrien's, Crank, Speed's, etc?

I have had about a half dozen MRI's since 06' on it, most current one was in October.

I am strongly considering getting some after reading about it and all of the reviews on it. Heck, not cheap but not really that expesive when you think about it either. Sort of torn on a source though after reading about the amount of bunk sources out there. Would hate to pay for it and it be water or some other BS.

That's really weird. MRIs can sometimes look clean when there is actually a labral tear, but the fact that you've had several with arthrogram and nothing showed up is kinda concerning. It might not be a terrible idea to get it scoped.

Times has the tb500 made a significant difference in your use? I'm currently going to an occupational therapist for shoulder inpingement brought on by bad posture. I have the posture fixed, and the inpingement is much better. I'm just wondering if it may make a difference with the remaining inflammation.

I would have sent you a pm, but I can't. If I get it I will get it from the company in the top corner. I just can't find much on dosing, and I'm wondering how long there 2mg bottle would last. Any info or help would be very much appreciated.

Why you think it would make it worse?
