    Thyroid hormones and cycling Testosterone

I'm currently taking prescribed Levothyroxine for hypothyroidism (50 mcg per day) and I wondered if I could cease the thyroid meds during a test only cycle? I feel that many of the symptoms of low T4/T3 can be cancelled out from the exogenous test- like low mood, low energy etc. Also, the literature that came with the meds states that Thyroxine should never be supplemented with testosterone, but I can't seem to find the reason for this?

Can I get away with this for a few weeks?

I'm hypothyroid and also on trt, never heard that about not combining the two. Definitely don't stop your levothyroxine. While the symptom of low t and hypothyroid may be similar, the cause is different and supplementing test wont bring your thyroid hormones up. Hypo treatment is very simple and straightforward, and is no cause for concern with trt/cycling.

    Thanks mate.

What Thyroid meds are you on and what's your dose? Do you take your TRT at different times to your Thyroid meds?

I take 75mcg levothyroxine once daily before bed for thyroid. For trt I take 60mg test cyp twice a week M/Thur. I've also had thyroid blood work pulled while on a blast, and there were no changes to my thyroid levels from the extra test.

I'm glad to hear your thyroid levels weren't alffected adversely by blasting. I always had worries about the impact of high levels of testosterone on T4.
