My wife and I are done having children and I am thinking of getting snipped. Is this going to affect my T levels?

+2. Always wondered myself. My friend just had it done & his Doc said no affect on T levels. I call crap on that...
I've seen it numerous times on here, sperm production has nothing to do with test production
Why would it? A vasectomy involves cutting the vas deferens, not the blood vessels supplying the testicles. If blood flow (where hormones are carried) were disrupted, your testicles would turn black and die. This would be terrible and obviously does not happen with a vasectomy.
Refer to this diagram: https://www.google.com/search?q=vas+...D1%3B263%3B238
Note how the blood vessels are pictured behind the vas deferens, largely independent of them.

There have been a couple studies saying that Testosterone levels increase slightly after a vasectomy, and there have been a couple cases where Testosterone levels dropped.
Either way, if you're on TRT don't worry about it. And if you're not on TRT I shouldn't think Testosterone would drop so much that it would be noticeable.
It will not effect your Test levels in any way what so ever.
Phew green light on the vas then

Consider getting some of you swimmers frozen. Truest me, you never know what the future holds and it's better to be safe than sorry. You can always opt to stop freezing them later on down the road.
Whilst thats a good thought i already got one terror and thats enough for me ever lol

That photo and others freaked me out. don't want any cutting down there. Although the freedom would be nice. Birth control pill for women is terrible imo. Managed fine so far with paying attention to her cycle and withdrawing when required.
To be honest I think I want it done one day, although I'm not certain yet.
