what is normal pain?

what is normal pain after injecting into the glut with a 23g 1.5 needle? my ass is sore for a few days but i can still walk is it the gear or just normal needle pain

ive got a question that may fit in a bit in here

i was wondering all those " how to inject " show people sticking the whole needle in their quads but im kinda in fear that my quads arent big enough to stick it in whole. is it possible to pierce my bone ? spooky

I was just doing some reading that mite be the case. because it onley hurts a few hours after the injection, if it was the gear it would burn instantly wouldn't it?
