I know smith machine don't count

I know most of you guys lift well over 300 but at 57 I just wanted to make sure I could still do 300 as I haven't done that for a long time. I know smith machine doesn't count for a true 300 but still feels pretty good.

Well done. It doesn't matter in the least to me whether it's free weight or smith. As long as you're moving the weight and making progress is all that really matters. You're putting most guys your age to shame.

    Nice job!

Thanks, Means a lot coming from guys that know.Since I cut back my work out to 1 hr and focusing on form and not how much weight. I am enjoying lifting more and not getting hurt. Then having to take time off. I think as an older lifter form over an amount of weight is better. At least for me.

Just saw how much weight you have lost in the past...now I am doubly impressed!!

Well done, my man! Your story is inspiring man and keep pushin' that weight around!

Plus smiths are especially good for incline press
