Infection?

Red, mildly itchy, hot to the touch. About the size of a quarter. Definitely different from bruising I've seen with my other 150 or so subq injections.

I've drawn a circle around it to see if it grows. Took every possible precaution, not sure how this occurred.

What's the best course?

I get those sometimes also. I'm pretty meticulous about being clean. It happens. Keep an eye on it. Mine has always gone away in a few days. No biggie.

No fever. It grew about 40% diameter overnight, but it's on the decline now. I'm guessing it was just a very minor infection, if there is such a thing. Took 400 mg ibuprofen each day. May have helped. I'm guessing if I had a fever I would need to take A different set of actions? Really, I'm just curious at what point I would need to seek medical attention.

If it gets worse and you start running a fever I would have it looked at. If its just swollen but getting better then I would wait it out
