Saw it and it's disgusting. Again, what kind of upbringing must they have to even remotely think that it's ok to act that way. He'll have a bright future behind bars and probably deservedly so.

It's nothin at all to do with race and everything to do with their upbringing. Goto those areas and speak with white, Latino, or Asian kids..... They're no better.

More often than not it's the parents fault. Maybe the parent can't afford any other housing.... But they sure as shit can be better parents.... They just choose not to be. They rather be "cool" parents instead of real parents

    I went to public school

I feel sorry for the teachers that really try to change people like that

True, but if you dont mind being a little politically incorrect or worried about offending anyone statistics do show that race has a lot of data to show differences such as African Americans/Blacks are 7 times more likely to come from single parent families (no father figure) and similar such statistics with other races/cultures. That being said Africans Americans/inner city kids are more likely to cause problems, be out of hand than rural kids.

Friend of mine worked at an inner city school in a predominately white city, I think grade's 3 and 4, and she was spit on, had things thrown at her, kids trying to bite her... you go across town to the better off neighbourhoods where she works now and kids are 100x better behaved. Not surprisingly, the school has more money to work with and makes her job easier.

That's another issue..... When it comes to money in those areas there's less to go around. The money they do have is allocated for the "nicer" areas. This happens with other areas also.... the roads and them being maintained, snow removal, general clean up.... Etc.

By me a very famous basket ball player had built a movie theater in Newark. He wanted to give kids a place to go instead of hanging in the streets. The movie theater became a hang out spot for the gangs. It had to be policed heavily and had security added. Gangs are a HUGE issue imo. They start recruiting kids at 10-11 years old. These kids see them as role-models. They want to be tough and emulate them. They want to live the "thug" life because their friends brother is a "blood" and he's always got money and women. It's such a deep rooted problem now that it's insanely hard to fix..... If that's at all possible.

    So true.

Live fast and die young has become a glorified representation of how one should travel through life. Or the more appropriately used acronym YOLO.

Like the father character in the movie Blow, "Money isn't real." Some people forget about that and instead devote their whole life to excessive monetary gains.

    The teachers are over whelmed
The kids mostly don't want to learn
The ones that do are the ones that are losing out the most

Ah nothing like public schools. They aren't all that terrible, but from Grade 1st-7th I was in some pretty atrocious "educational facilities" in Indianapolis. Then my family moved away only to have myself surrounded by kids who shake-n-bake birch reductions in their parent's garages!

There was no validity in that kid's actions at all and unfortunately he will be someone who most likely becomes very well acquainted with the feeling of institutionalization. "Dem' penitentiary flows."

Where's the "attack?" Did I miss it?

Couple of punks and a "teacher" who I'm trying to decide what drugs she's on.... Is the kid in the red shirt drunk?

I don't know where y'all went to school but my homeroom teacher would have flattened your ass for acting like that.

I'm guessing you grew up in the days where teachers actually had the authority to hit you? Not trying to call you old! We had a teacher slam his hands on a desk in our high school and get verbally frustrated with the class and that resulted in his termination. Couldn't imagine what frivolous lawsuits would ensue from physical contact even if it's probable.

I wonder how the American educational system would have evolved if the over protection of children to a certain degree didn't manifest like it did today. I felt that getting my ass whooped as a punishment instead of the arbitrary "grounded" attempt got my attention a lot more. It's easier to associate pain with something than a brief encounter of temporary isolation in your room.

The public school I went to had a few officers on grounds, but they tried to deescalate any altercation before bringing in the police. Our principal tried to do everything he could to solve something before passing it on to the justice system and in turn create a new menace to society. Even students being caught with drugs/paraphernalia didn't immediately get handed over to the local police. I'm sure it's changed now because regardless of what the school does, obnoxious parents are the first to file suit against one another and turn it into a he said/she said money battle.

There are so many videos surfacing of kids attacking or bullying teachers. I don;t get this generation man. My ass would have been whooped so bad, I would feel the pain before I even attempted something like this. Back then, we had consequences.

    Is this becoming a "thing"?

I just come from a very small town. I guess there were still some community values. If you acted like that it wouldn't be out of the question for another student to stand up and smack you before the teacher even got to you- and no one in the class would have said a damn thing about it....

Thrust me I hear and understand ya. But that's just not where things are any more. The kids misbehave... Get bad grades... Bitch to the parents that they weren't tought properly...parents complain to the admin of school. Next thing you know the teacher is on probation the kid gets to feel like they won. Continue to act a fool. And that's the minor infraction. Teacher lays a hand on a student game the **** over. Fired with pending civil law suits.the schools admin have no backbone

Am I the only one who wanted to jump through my screen into the video, and knock that punk the **** out? As for the girls who were mocking and laughing, sometimes I wish I was really good friends with the likes of Rousey or Cyborg. This way when girls like this act up, I can ask one of them to deal with the snotty little brat, and when someone complains that you shouldn't hit women, I can say "What? I didn't touch her".

The problem here is that a bunch of shitheads sued the school districts, and now teachers have no authority or control over their students. Rampant litigation is one of the biggest problems in America. Nobody can actually do their ****ing job anymore because they're too busy trying to cover their own ass from lawsuits. If you want to blame someone for what is wrong with America, blame lawyers and the retard judges that enable their antics.
