    First Test E Cycle

    Just an update...
    45yr old male
    140lbs
    5' 5"
    12%bf

Started cycle 2 weeks ago. Was a little freaked out at the first injection, but just did it. Went fine, but finding a little soreness at the site, but it is mild and wears off in a couple days. Is this normal?
Doing 250mg 2x/wk and alternating glutes.
Haven't noticed much change in size/strength yet, but working hard 4 days/wk - Mon chest, Tue Legs, Wed shoulders/back, Thurs arms.
Will be taking AI & hcg later this week when it arrives (wish I waited to start until I had everything).
    Eating about 140-160g protein/day and about 2800 cal/day.
Not expecting extreme results, but wanted to kick my training into high gear after working for the last year or so.

    Any suggestions/feedback/comments would be appreciated.

You could have put more muscle on naturaly before starting the cycle imo, 140lbs is pretty light to be starting a cycle.

You wont see it kick in until around 5/6th week as Test E is a long estered test.

As for the injection pain, we refer to it as pip (post injection pain)
The pain can vary depending which lab your using, but from what you have described it sounds perfectly normal.

Out of curiousty what lab are you using?

140-160g of protein? You need to eat more if you want to gain anything. IMO

Also your only in 2 weeks so give it some time. GL

Keep us updated through the whole deal. I'm kinda interested to see how much u gaineed Dearing and losee after cycle.

Post up your diet in the diet section if u havent already. So we can help out for that part and also so I can reference that to your cycle.

I'm interested in final results because we get alot of guys that come in wanting to cycle and there stats seem a little low for starting. (Not trying to be a a**). So since you are a little small in hight and weight it will be interesting to see and be able to show ppl the end result in gains.

How long have you been on your current diet? It's not a whole lot of calories, but you should still be able to grow since you're so light, unless of course, you have a really high metabolism. Being 140lbs at 5'5" is not the same as being 140 at 6'0", but yes, I agree with the others here, you still are fairly light and I would've waited a while if I were you. I also would have stayed natty for longer considering your training history...1 year of working out is nothing.

Either way, good luck, and let us know how it goes. To answer your question, yes, it is normal to feel some mild pain for a couple days after pinning, especially for virgin muscles.

Thanks for the input. Been following the board for a few months and really respect what is said. Yes, probably should have waited and stayed natural for awhile longer, but got impatient. I will post diet in the proper thread later tonight if I get the chance. I was thinking it was kind of light also. I have always been the 90lb weakling kinda guy. When I started I was 120lbs. Have managed to put on some since I started. Not looking to be, nor will I ever look as good as some of you guys, but just want to be the best I can. I enjoy the process more than the look, but the results help too. Hard work in and out of the gym are the key, not necessarily the gear. Will keep you guys posted as to my progress.
And I am using Kalpa gear. And not worried about the pip. Seems normal to me from what i have read. Thanks.

Kalpa gear is good stuff, used it myself

and your comment "you will never look as good as some of us" you need to change that mind set to "im going to look better than you guys"

train hard eat hard, and when your cycle comes to an end, make sure you eat and train just as hard if not harder to hold on to your new found muscle.

    Good luck, keep us updated

My opinion is a little different than some above 140lbs at 5,5 is normal. At the age of 45, no need to wait any longer. If you havent gained size or weight by now, you need a helping boost. I am 5.10 and I was stuck at 140lbs no matter what I did. Couldnt get past a certain bench. After my first cycle of test for 3 months, my natural weight went from 140lbs to 165 lbs. Second cycle with Deca mixed in brought me to a natural weight of 175 lb. Best thing IMO I ever did as far as keeping weight on.

Keep in mind, during those cycles, I ate like a beast. Probably 6k calories each day. FOOD FOOD FOOD is so important. You wont be hungry but you have to get 6K calories at your weight during your cycle or it wont be as effective. Get ONS weight gainer 12 lb bag vanilla. Go through 2 bags a month.

I see so many kids on here complain that they arent gaining size. They dont keep a chart of their calorie intake and when they finally do, they realize they are only getting 3k a day. NOT ENOUGH to gain weight if you have a fast metabolism.
