Every amp has more than 1ml, dont worry about it. Inject as much as you can.
It looks like you would have 1.3ml in the picture if you didn't have air in the syringe. Hope that helps you rather than trying to describe plunger parts.
That air is 0.1 or 0.2 ml, and nurses dont really spend a lot of time extracting every single drop of oil. So they always put a bit more oil, only ugls have less than described.
Concentration dont change.
Over thinking it
One amp = one amp
Measure from either full syringe no air back or from marker to marker - i.e. 1ml to 2ml
