Super fast irregular heart beats? What could be causing it? Need some help

For a couple weeks now, like every other day, my heart at completely random times will start beating like crazy. Faster than it ever has before. Simply from just sitting down. It beats so hard and fast it actually starts to hurt. Like 200-300 beats per minute. It can last up to 10 minutes. I legit thought I was having a heart attack the first time it happened to me and was about to call 911.

I have never had this happen to me before and I am scared this is something really serious.

Info on me:
-I'm 26 years old, male,
-I am on my first cycle, about 8 weeks in.
-Taking Test e 500mg per week (pharmacom brand)
-.5g of arimidex eod
-Taking evista/raloxifene 60 mg ed (I have some gyno that I am hoping the raloxifene can take care of)

What could be causing this?

I also agree that you should see a doctor. Only thing I can thing of that might cause similar symptoms is clen but doesn't sound like you're taking that...

Will do on the doctor. Though I've been having issues with my current doctor and need to switch to another one. So it'll be a bit before I see the doctor. But I will try to schedule an appointment asap.

I just hope he doesn't take a blood test and see the stuff I'm taking.

Almost every time I've had bloodwork done at the doctor's they don't test your testosterone levels unless you either ask for it or have symptoms in which he would want to test it. Keep in mind though, let's say you were having a bad reaction to something that you were taking for whatever reason, if you hide it from your doctor then you could potentially be shooting yourself in the foot. In my opinion, having an open relationship with your doctor about what you are taking is very important for keeping yourself as healthy as possible (especially for longevity). I understand that some doctors aren't cool with AAS but I think you'd be surprised how many are actually very accepting and just want to keep you as healthy as possible. I know many people whose doctors know about their AAS/drug use and they are able to use as safely as possible because of it. Just my two cents, I wish you the best!

You need a cardiologist not a GP, I understand that in some places you need to be referred to one.

This is not directly caused by testosterone, although the higher stress caused by the cycle probably made it show up.

Dont stop cycle just yet as one of the problems is the event showing up in the tests doctors will be performing, dont say anything about the cycle.
Dont try ASAP, you need to have it checked out right now, if you have same symptom go directly to ER.

It's called psvt. It's a very dangerous heart condition and left untreated can cause death. Seek out a cardiologist.

Using a stimulant and also the lack of sleep can cause this condition. Sometimes. I was a medic for 10 years and had to push certain meds on ppl with this condition to reverse the conditions. Its usually an electrical malfunction of sorts but it is treatable. Try getting more sleep and see if that helps

I was thinking it may be PSVT. However, it is not that serious of a condition as you make it out to be... and is very rare for it to cause death.

I notice it happens a lot when I drink soda/caffeine, or workout. I get good sleep so its not that.

I didn't have a heart problem but I did do myself a near-fatal liver injury. . . I wouldn't be writing this post now if I hadn't gone to see a doctor.

I can't tell him I am juicing. I'm sure he can still help me without me having to tell him I'm juicing.

While you visit doctor and get some tests done like 3D Echo for heart.

Better to start Propronolol 40 MG

Because your young, its most likely a panic attack. A real heart attack has a "crushing" sensation. Panic attacks commonly cause a spasm in a muscle that's right by your heart which causes the pain sensation and the heart feeling like it is is going to explode. Either way, get it checked out by a doctor. They should be able to tell very quickly what it is. Also understand that it can be hard to tell if your experiencing a panic attack because its really a physical sensation more than a mental one in a way. The first time i experinced a panic attack when i was 13. I thought i was suffocating and couldn't breathe I demanded that my parents take me to the hospital and the hospital staff kinda laughed and said it was a panic attack. It took awhile before i believed them. It sounds crazy but the reason you can't tell its a panic attack and not a heart attack is because you don't actually notice the mental sensation because it comes on so suddenly that imo you first notice your racing heart rate and sudden pain first and not the extreme anxiety; and because of that believe that you are terrified that you are going to die of a heart attack, instead of realizing its just the fear itself that its causing the racing heart rate and pain.
BTW I'm presuming this based on the fact that if heart issues ran in your family you would of stated this. 26 Years old is a VERY young age to have a heart attack.

Steroids can cause anxiety in some people and maybe it triggered your first panic attack? either way get a doctor asap its clearly a medical issue regardless of whether its a mental or physicial one. IMO you have the odds in your favor much more that you experienced your first panic attack and not a heart one.

Panic attacks can also cause an irregular heartbeat too as well as anxiety, stress, etc.

Of course it's not a heart attack, but panic attacks from HPA activation have a very distinct set of symptoms... it's not like the casual tachycardia that everyone, young or old, can experience.

Probably it's just vagus nerve irritation due to heightened sensitivity from endocrine disturbance.

If it's anywhere close to 200 bpm, it is almost certainly PSVT (or Afib w/RVR or VTach, which would be even worse, but less likely). And yeah, it is life threatening because the faster your heart beats, the less time your ventricles have to fill (so your BP drops dangerously low after a certain rate, generally around 230 bpm). It is "rarely fatal" because most people have the good sense to go to the hospital and get cardioverted, rather than lay there and wait to see whether they will die.

How's the Dr. Appointment going? It's been 9 days since your first post about this. I'm not fussing at you bro, but you need to get this checked. It doesn't make a darn if you're cycling you need to find out what's causing this. Something that always motivates me to see a doc is, if you don't do for you, do it for the people who love you and depend on you. It's probably nothing but you need to find out for sure. I'm not going to say anything else about it. Good luck brother!
