Raw Eggs PWO --- Anyone doing this?

I am strongly considering trying this again. Years ago I did this. I am considering again, not for the protein but for the other things in raw eggs like the Arachadonic Acid. What do you guys think about a raw egg here and there? How has it effected your progress? Thanks.

Raw eggs you can only digest 50% of the protein. Just cook them more protein you can absorb and nutrients nvm killing the risk of salmonella

I only recall many years ago in my teens I used to take 5-6 whole raw eggs with some sugar and walked up to the gym, about 30 min walk but gym sessions were amazing if I took this "shake", and I wasnt considering it being PWO rather than just protein source. Besides I stopped doing that when we moved to the city because wholesale market eggs are not as pure as ones of your own hens. I recall on days I didnt take that workout used to be very different... call it placebo or real, it used to feel good, however - proceed with caution

just cook them . way better. ive drank raw eggs , its really not that bad but cooking does indeed add more of what you're losing from drinking them raw.

If you're eating them for the arachadonic acid I doubt meal timing matters much. As for the taste... might be better off cooking them bro.

I use to mix raw egg whites (like egg beaters) in my protein smoothies I would make when I was competing to thicken them up. 2 scoops whey, creatine, frozen berries, spinach and oats. Blend it all up and chug it. Delicious!

I go through 750ml-1L of egg whites and 4-6 eggs per day all raw. I have egg whites pre and post workout instead of whole eggs cause I thought it would be a good idea to avoid fats in those meals and just go protein carb...

Exactly!!i eat a ton of egg whites raw..have heard you don't utilize all of the protein from them without them being cooked but it's just so easy to eat them or throw them in a shake ..plus it doesn't bloat me and make me sick..egg yolks have 7 grams fat per..I try to keep my fat intake at 70-80 grams a day so I don't have a lot of room ..so I'll mix a few full ones in the whites..

I drink the pasteurized egg whites as a quick and easy protein source but man, they produce some heinously toxic gas. Seriously. Passed gas in my car after gym one evening from these and the next morning it still smelled like something died in my car. Now I only do them on days I know I won't see my girlfriend.

I always have them cooked anyway, never had gas, not even with whole eggs.
