How fast did your hair fall out?

After your first cycle, or second or whatever. Was it a major thinning? This seems to be a definite shitty downside to gearing up.

Yes. Teeth is very important. Except from a 22 inch gun, a Hollywood smile would be my first wish.

I began getting thinner hair at 27-28, and it progressed fairly quickly and then stopped. I had used AAS for a very long time before my hair fell out so I don't think they're related. Some a genetically prone to losing hair by DHT, some not.

I began losing hair due to a serious sickness which required treatment just as severe. Lost 14kgs of muscle in 6-7 weeks, and much of my hair.
The muscle I have mostly gained back, but the hair not so much.

I didn't have any hair problems with Test only cycles. It was when I started to cycle 19-Nor, particularly Tren, that I started to thin out on top. I stopped running Tren and the thinning has slowed down. I'm taking finestride and rubbing minoxidil on my head to slow down the DHT hair loss. Seems to be working ok.

No hair loss here so far. I don't run large cycles though like some of the one or two year lifters....
Scotch, what dose Fina do you take daily?

I did finasteride years ago pre AAS, as I was receding quite a bit. It brought the hairline back and thickened significantly as opposed to just stopping the thinning. Hoping for the same by starting fina again this week. Have you noticed any regeneration and at what time frame from beginning did you see changes? Thanks!

My mother was on hrt. She said her hair didn't respond well-I never noticed but women notice when anything gives them a reason for anxiety. Anyhow, the doc conducted what she called a "patch test." The term she used is meaningless, the doc did a biopsy on her scalp. He said there was a medicine available but he needed to know if it was right for the situation. The doc eventually confirmed that it is likely due to anxiety. She told me all this when I told her about me going on trt. I'll find out more from her and post it here.

I thought finasteride just stopped thinning, not made hair grow back in.

I'm taking 5mg/ed. At my age, my prostate thinks it's a birthday balloon. Trying to keep that sucker under control.

The fina definitely helps with the thinning while on Test. Test based thinning is due to DHT so fina works fine. Fina didn't help much with the 19-Nor's like Tren and Deca. I just stopped taking 19-Nors. I didn't want to look like a muscular dude with a samurai haircut. LOL When I stopped 19-Nor's I did notice my thinning stopped or at least slowed down significantly. I'm waiting to see if my hair population will increase.

I always thought 19-nors such as deca were "easy on the hair"?

Im almost 24 and my hair is pretty damn thin but i dont think my test cycle is making it worse. Sure it sucks but i dont care. I'll get laid regardless.
Just shave it all off, get huge, and put the fear of god into every mother trucker that you bump shoulders with.

Literally gave zero fucks about the many reported horrors associated with 19-nors, until I discovered this side-affect.

  19. #19
    I'll never do tren.
Regardless, my genes are not predisposed to being bald. Thank Goodness . Good looks have to come with a full head imo.
Its just too bad im ugly.

My mom said the doc told her, "spironolactone." This shouldn't be taken by men. Why do people say not to use fina? Is it something to do with blaocking the conversion to dht? I thought fina (and duta) has its action only in hair follicles and prostate. A trt doc on youtube suggested fina.

Fina has some nasty side effects. I got don't why people are so against shaving their hair off if they're losing it

The third week of college my hairline receded about two inches in an hour. Thank god it stopped and no amount of AAS can make it recede. Use nioxin if you're freaked out or just go bald. Men are not their hair line. Men are their deadlift and their refractory period divided by income divided by height in centimeters squared.

Maybe in Daytona Beach men are their deadlift, but places like NYC and LA where I live, hairline matters. If mine were thinning hard, I would just shave it, but it's not thinning hard and I want to keep it that way.

Not really into the whole fear of god thing. Not looking to get huge either. Just looking to get to 185 or so.

It depends on your genetics. If you're one of the lucky ones, it's not too bad on the hairline. If you're not, you're screwed. The thing about 19-nor is that finestride, which works with DHT based hairloss, does nothing for 91-nor hairloss.

I hear you about shaving the head. I tried that a few times but my head's shaped like a Neanderthal with scars and not round and smooth. Not an attractive look for me. Good thing I'm already married with a bunch of kids. I don't think women bed Neanderthals. LOL

I hear ya. Every one of my brothers are fat with a full head of hair. I'm the only one who's fit and thinning. THE WORLD IS NOT FAIR! LOL

    Hey Scotch,
Why (the 19-nor and fina thing)?

I was on fina for about a year after an ex of mine freaked me out saying she thought I was thinning, I wasnt. Anyways, zero side effects for me.

I think it could vary greatly person to person and often if one is predisposed to balding already. I've ran gear for 20+ years and I still have a full head of hair.

I noticed a little receding from the front, within a month

I've not tried a DHT (dihydrotestosterone) blocker yet. So don't know how well they work ... Maybe worth looking into though
