First paragraph below is a little history for those that don't recall my thread several months back:
Post-PCT, I developed a little gyno flare-up in my left nipple, and asked for advice on how to treat it. Instead of trying to treat it with Nolva and AI, I gave Ralox a try and ran it for months with no success. My left nipple is now permanently puffy and quite honestly an embarrassment. I've been using lots of compression shirts or surgical tape just to keep it from looking pointy through my shirts. Mind you I'm a trainer at a gym, so this would be quite embarrassing around my colleagues.
Now I'm planning to get gyno surgery since it won't seem to resolve on its own. I don't know if I'll just try to find a out-of-network physician and just fork out the $6-8K it's likely going to run me, or if I'm going to try to conjure up a story to my doctor and see if my provider will cover the surgery. Chances are gyno surgery is going to be considered elective plastic surgery and I'll be sh*t out of luck.
The story I'm thinking of telling them is that I've had a tiny bump under my left nipple most of my life (false), but it was never really a problem until recently when I gained a lot of weight over the holidays (kind of true) and now that I lost the weight, I was expecting the bump to disappear, which it didn't. Now I have this embarrassment of a b*tch tit of a left nipple that I'm self-conscious about and would like to get taken care of.
I doubt that will work, but what do you guys think?
Also, anyone with Gyno Surgery have any experience and/or recommendations as I look into physicians out of network? What to expect, what to look for, anything that may not be obvious to someone looking into such a procedure?
