Much healthier ways to lower LDL. LDL is also misunderstood... It's not as bad as the health world claims it to be. Science is proving a higher level of LDL is more beneficial for your health. (not like 500 or something outrageous).

Triglycerides are what is to worry about.

Also no such thing as bad cholesterol, another myth put out in the world. The biggest concern with cholesterol is figuring out what size particles your cholesterol is. Still on the hunt... Maybe someone can finally elaborate.

If LDL were such a tragic thing to have elevated, why is it when we fast our LDL goes up?

Harmful cholesterol builds up in the arteries from cooking fats.

To quote Edward Howell in Enzyme Nutrition:

When fats, either animal or vegetable, are eaten along with their associated enzymes, no harmful effect on the arteries or heart results. All fatty foods contain lipase in their natural state. Cooking or processing removes it.
