I have been lifting for 15year but a solid 10 seriously. Long story short recently I went back to bodybuilding due to injuries that no longer allowed me to powerlift. In my time of powerlifting I deadlifted 585lb, squat 500lbs, and benched 300lbs. (All in competition)
Those numbers aren’t anything impressive but I was really proud of them. When I started 15 years ago I couldn’t bench 135lb.
Recently I got back into bodybuilding.
Been on the diet, and the cardio, and the “bro splits” hitting each body part twice a week if I can. I do miss sqautting a lot but any insight for someone who has lifted heavy for a while and now making the switch is appreciated.
