    Having trouble staying asleep

    Hi all,

Currently running t400 and can't seem to stay asleep, I work out regularly and have a extremely physical job.

I can maybe sleep 5 hours straight and wake up either for no reason or just extreme aroused.

Would you lower dose? Or any tips to stay asleep, I have a fairly complex vitamin regimen as well but seems it's only been lately. Before taking test & hcg I could sleep 10 hours no problem.

    Thank you.

Honkey gave some good advice there. Benadryl can help alot.

As far your supplements, I'd be much more inclined to believe it's somewhere in your vitamin cocktail than the testosterone. The thing with testosterone is that it changes your hormone balance drastically. And that can change how your body reacts to other supplements and even some foods and medications.

You really don't need alot of vitamins if you eat right. You might try to cut out the extra unnecessary vitamins and try some benadryl. Give it a week or so and see if tat does it, then slowly incorporate just the basics back in if you want to. B12, C, D and E ought to be more than adequate. If any at all

Some of those things can cause a boost in metabolism. Of course along with that can come restlessness , sleeplessness and anxiety.

The boners are in all likelihood the testosterone. Anything upward of about 400 makes me a walking erection. But in my opinion, whether it's 250 or 400 test weekly, that shouldn't cause bad insomnia or sleeplessness. But you may find yourself hunching on your pillow or your wife's leg while you sleep. Been there done that.

I'd personally examine your vitamin cocktail.

If that doesn't work you could always jump to my personal go to - and down a pint of Jim beam, get laid real good and rattle the walls snoring for about 10 hours. Works everytime for me.

    What this guy said...!!!

Personally, in my advanced age (55 yo), I don't sleep like I used to 30 yrs ago. Being on gear only exacerbates the issue...

If you’re trying to stay natural - as far as sleep meds go > magnesium with melatonin work well, if taken about 30 mins before bed

I have bad sleep every time I’m on a cycle. It’s definitely the testosterone. 5 hours isn’t that bad... keep some melatonin by your bedside and if you wake up, take one.

How many weeks have you been on?
    What is your weekly dosage?

That does not answer the question of what is your weekly dose.

How much volume of test E 250mg/ml were you injecting per week?
How much volume of test ? 400mg/ml were you injecting per week?

We know vodka is 80 proof (40% alcohol) but if we don't know how much you drank than we won't know how much alcohol you consumed.
Drinking a glass of vodka delivers far more alcohol than drinking a shot of vodka.

How big is the syringe?? Is it 1ml (1cc) or something else?

You said above you switched to the t400 e4d.
Now you are saying you are doing 250 1 shot a week.

Please provide as much accurate information as possible.

Try a GABA (750mg) and Melatonin (3mg) cocktail 30min before bed if none of the above methods work. Works for me

I didn't read all the posts above, but seemed like mostly good advice. I would add that testosterone and gaining weight increase your propensity for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA, the most common form). Download Sleep Lab app, or something similar, on your smartphone as a diagnostic starting point. From there you may need to buy an auto PAP (APAP) or get prescribed a CPAP.

In addition, or if sleep apnea not present, ask for a very commonly prescribed non addictive medicine called trazadone. Melatonin is solid, but for me it helped me get to sleep but not stay asleep. Obviously avoid caffeine and alcohol prior to bed.

One thing to also note is that tren causes insomnia for many people, including myself. Testosterone is generally well tolerated.

I never had sleeping issues like I do now, post my brain hemorrhage/stroke

It just doesn’t turn off - I can’t fall asleep naturally anymore at all

Before - even on roids, I’d sleep ok - popped a .5mg xAnax randomly - other nites, if I didn’t drink I’d sleep well - as long as I wasn’t on tren < naturally at most I was able to get in 5-6 hours
