I'd be very careful about doing much of anything. IF you can gently stretch within your current range of motion, I would do that.
If you have a little range of motion, I would try lying on the floor with my feet elevated. I get the most comfort from lying on the the floor and resting my legs from the knees down on the seat of a couch.
If that works and you are comfortable that you have only strained and not torn or ruptured anything, I would consider some deep tissue work done with mild pressure.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. If you have any Voltaren tabs and Flexeril on hand, I would try them @ the normal dosage.
If there's any possibility that you may have torn or ruptured anything, continue the ice/heat therapy ( I like to alternate the two), NSAIDS, scrap the stretches and tissue work,and go see your Dr.
