I need to go pick up some insulin needles for my HCG, but I don't want to sound like a dumb ass when I go to the pharmacy. So does anyone know exactly what I need to ask for?![]()

i had to pick some up for "grandma".. just asked for syringes for insulin and they gave em to me.. think they were 29g.. it was a while ago.
just go in an say you want insulin syringes. they come in boxes of 50 and 100 and should be found in any pharmacy.
give them the eye if they look at you funny because anyone is allowed to purchase them legally.
Yeah " grandma " is always needing those d*mn things LOL
Just buy some online, it saves you the pressure of having to answer to "Pharmacist Numbnuts."
PM me if need any help.
Insulin syringes usually range from 27-31 gauge. I prefer the 30 or 31 since its less painfull. You also have a choice of a long or short needle, again I go with the short one since its less painfull. They come in boxes of 50 or 100, but you can also get them in packs of 10. They will also ask you what unit size you want, they come in 30, 50, and 100 Units sizes. Good luck.
What does the unit size mean?Originally Posted by Paranoid
international units is how insulin is measured not in mgOriginally Posted by TheOak182
Insulin usually runs 10 units per ml but you need to check the bottle![]()
Like powerlifter already mentioned, insulin is measured in I.U not mg. So 100 units = 1ml = 1cc. When I use Pregnyl HCG that is 1500 i.u per ml and I want to use say 500i.u pers shot, I load up a U100 syringe to 33units.Originally Posted by TheOak182
