    URGENT!!PINK SLIP from USPS

    hey bros,
I received a pink slip from USPS today saying that they have a
large envelope, magazine, catalog, etc available for pick-up at the postal
address listed on the slip. I have NEVER received this slip in my
life and I didn't order priority. I have ordered from this source 3 or so times and the postman always leaves the package in between my front doors. There is also a statement that says
"If checked, you or your agent must be present at the time of
delivery to sign for item." and the box IS checked. It also says
they will come back in a few days and re-deliver.

The approach I am taking right now is I am NOT going to sign for
anything. If they re-deliver I will simply look at the package and
say "I am not expecting anything" and will not sign.

Waiting on response from source and friend of mine told me to post here.

    Thanks bros

Also there is an option on one side of the slip that says "FINAL NOTICE: Artice will be returned to sender on" and is blank. This seems very leery.

Hey bro... how much gear did you order? You don't want to waste your money do you? Pink slips are normal, and most suppliers are now making you sign just because they have been getting ripped off. Is it out of China? My friend signs everytime and never any trouble. Depending on where you live, most everyone gets a warning first if it's not trafficing amount. It's up to you, but I wouldn't lose my money. I sign for things that I have no idea that are coming to me...soooooo play stupid if you get busted and just say that you thought it might have been a present. Act curious when you get it and ask the postman ?'s. Watch his actions and see if he is nervous. they don't do this all the time so they won't be pro's unless it is the post master general, in which case I'd say you ordered 5k worth of gear. IMO...sign and have fun..

Thanks for the quick response. I just received an email from dealer saying that it is "normal" and it means the package could not fit in mail box.

**As for as the amount it is a very minimal order.

Bro of mine just gave me some solid advice. Go pick it up...because they will not be expecting me. If i have to wait longer than 10min at post office...leave..?

Again though dealer and everyone is saying the package is to big to fit in mail box why wouldn't they leave in between front doors like usual?

Ive ran into problems similar to this...Once the mail lady didnt leave the pack because she didnt recognize the name on the pack and wanted to be sure it was correct so instead of dropping it off like she was supposed to she left a slip saying the pack could be picked up at the P/O...Well it had me at my end wits and one bottle of nolva down the toilet and one smashed&incinerated hard drive later I figured out it wasn't a CD and just went and picked it up.

Anyway, I have to wonder about ANY source who uses UPS. Chances are if he choses such an unsafe shipping method then he is unsafe in everything else he does with and you are compromising your own security just by dealing with him. So first suggestion is to get your pack and then my next one is to never talk to that source again and find someone new to deal with that has reliable shipping methods.

yeah i was in a similiar situation, i decided to make an unnanounced visit. i looked around clearly before i arrived, sat in the parking lot a few minutes to see if i could notice anything out of the ordinary. i went in and asked for my package and started to count in my head. i tried to see if she was stalling, but in the end i was there for probably about 5 min tops.

My chinese supplier always sends my shippments usps, requiring a signature. Think of it this way, if they wanted to get you they would keep trying to deliver at your residence, they want you to sign at your house so they can go right in, and toss your residence. I always wait to the postman starts to leave the front of the house, then I catch up to him and sign for it, and I put it right in my vehicle and don't bring it home for a few days. I also, keep a clean house while I'm waiting for anything, and I have it sent in a different name ( I keep getting mail in some chicks name, so I use that). But remember, just because it's at the post office dosen't mean you can't get busted... each area has one or two postal inspectors that will wait a particular post office if they are expecting someone to come get something, but it's usually narcotics. I happen to know a statewide narc officer, and he told he's been in the unit for 5 years, and only did 1 controlled delivery for aas, and that was $13k worth of shit. It's most likely that if your package would have been seized and you would have gotten a letter. good luck bro.

Its best not to discuss packaging/shipping methods on the open forums...Keep that stuff to PM's bro you could be letting that cat out of the bag..
