For people that need to know what size needle to use..

What size needle do I need?

    here you go...

The smaller the gauge the larger the needle.

22 or 23 Gauge, 1.5 Inch is ideal for injections into the glutes.

25 Gauge, 1.0 inch is ideal for injections into the quads and can be used for all spot injections.

25 Gauge, 5/8 inch is often used for tricep/bicep/delts

Really, and where did you find this info?

5/8th is too small, you want to go as deep as you can IM.

1inch on everthing except for glutes, then 1.5inches.

And i only use 25g, small needle avoids built up scar tissue. There really is no reason to go bigger except to inject faster.

I use 1" for everything as well. i started with 5/8's until i was comfortable with what i was doing. I found that with smaller length needles you are more prone to the 'injection lump'.

I use to always use 1" inch needles for everything. Now, I've now switched to 1" 1/2. It allows me to be more versatile!

    everyone is different, exactly.
although it might help, its better to let people use whats best for them, and giving a range of sizes would probably be better.
