"Tapering down" letro doses

I read in Hookers profile of letro (femara) that he was doing doses of 2.5 mg per day and "tapered down" to doses of .25 mg per day to get rid of gyno.

Over what time period do you taper down ? Is 60 days the norm ?

Also would I stop using nolva when I take the letro, and save the nolva for PCT?

I am using 10 mg per day of nolva out of concern for gyno.
