This should probably be posted in the spa, but I'm going to put it here because this forum receives so much traffic. Mods, feel free to move it if you wish.

About 70% of AS users experience acne while on, and especially after a cycle as your test levels are unbalanced. I have tried just about everything except for accutane, because I was not willing to mess with all the side effects. Tetracycline worked for me, but only OK.

Thats when I decided to try vitamin B5, I never in a million years thought it would work as well as it does. I used this site to get mine http://www.superiornutraceuticals.co...Acne_Blast.htm , there are many places that sell it though.

I been preaching tihs for a few months now heh heh - this stuff works for me too. It also has a higher suscess rate than accutane.

I use B5 and it has been clearing me up from the cycle I used Fina in........ Fina gave me the worst acne.

I've just been hitting up the Vitamin Shoppe they sell 300 caps at 500mg for $18.00...... I will try the powders if they are cheaper and easy to cap.

I would use it the whole cycle and if needed longer......

Start with around 10g ED until the acne starts to get better and then do a maintence dose around 2 to 5g ED

It took about 3 weeks or so for me it actually got worse while usin B5 at first but I was told that was going to happen

I started 10g a day until it started getting better...... because that's what I have read but some may be able to get away with less

I found 300g's for 40 bucks but I think MudMans would be cheaper. 300/500mgs=150gs right? so he's saving 4 bucks. ****it, I always get ripped off!!!!

It sucked when I first started using B5...... I was taking 20 caps a day because they were only 500mg....LOL

Like TheMudman, it took a few weeks for me to see a dramatic effect. I actually noticed a little difference within a week. I love the stuff... I'm just mad that it took me so long to buy it.

how about extremely bad acne? from my tren/prop cycle, i got terrible CYSTIC acne. it was like puss filled marbles under my skin. its been like 6 months since my cycle and the acne has faded, but i have TONS of TERRIBLE deep, dark purple scars and pock marks all over my chest and back. my summer is ruined. i might have to have laser treatment to get rid of them.

Wow, sorry to hear that bro. Get some vitamin E caps, poke a small hole in it with a pin and squeez the E on the scars. This should help.

God don't tell me that. I'm starting a cycle with TREN and PROP. I can't get rid of my acne from my last cycle and it's been 3 months!!!! I don't think I will ever do DBOL or DECA again. My shoulders are so bad, I'm afraid to take my shirt off.

that's one reason i won't even take test! androgens **** me over badly! nothing but var and primo for me...

PS - B5 may work for some but, IMO it does not work for many. mild benzoyl peroxide (2-6%) treatment along with some topical retin-a would be a more effective (albeit more expensive) solution. or, if it's extremely bad, accutane might be necessary. lots of information about how to get rid of acne can be found on a message board not unlike this one at www.acne.org. it's where tons of pimply faced geeks hang out on the internet and argue over what clears up their facial spider bites the best. who could ask for more? but all kidding aside, my face and neck looked like a disaster area last november (due to acne), but now my face is clearer than 90% of everyone else and i have no scarring whatsover, mostly thanks to that website and forum.

Same cost as mine. 600 grams for $18 = .03 cents a gram.
Yours 1000 grams for $30 = .03 cents a gram.

Well I'm not going to say it tastes good. But I buy lots of things in powder (things I'm too lazy to cap) that taste pretty bad.
